Asset Manager, Website Specialist, & Social Media Strategist

The Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts | Harvard University, Cambridge, MA

A contemporary gallery that is housed within the historic brutalist building by French-Swiss architect Le Corbusier, alongside Harvard University’s art department.

Audiences consist of enthusiasts of art, history, and architecture across the globe, Cambridge residents, Harvard staff, faculty, and students, and donors and patrons of the arts.

Branding Assets

  • Manage and organize the branding assets

  • Create new templates that remain loyal to brand guidelines

  • Adapt assets for digital publishing such as Instagram highlights, video credits, and social media programming graphics.

  • Redesign and creat printed materials such as posters, program booklets, way-finding signage, exhibition wall vinyl, staff ID cards, and other various materials.

Website

  • Consistently update and maintain the accuracy and overall functioning of the gallery website

  • Using Craft, I create, edit, and publish web pages for public use

  • Photograph and format the images to publish online

  • Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to troubleshoot bugs and improve workflow

  • Write and edit web copy

Social Media (@carpenter_center_harvard)

  • Organize, create, and publish original content to Instagram

  • Organize and populate social media calendars

  • Write original copy for captions

  • Research associated tags and accounts

  • Maintain engagement activity on both Instagram and Vimeo

  • Collaborate with affiliated accounts to maintain consistency, and encourage user engagement

  • Maintain a consistent 20% user engagement increase rate
